Software
Small utilities are often the best way to understand a problem. I like projects that make one workflow clearer, faster, or less error-prone.
Research
Trading and technical research are useful exercises in separating a plausible story from a testable claim. The notes here favor explicit assumptions and evidence.
Writing
The site itself is a project: content, design, deployment, and maintenance are all part of the thing being built.
